  1. Because he was told by the king that he would be attending a banquet with the king and Esther the next and day then the king would explain what it was all about.

Mordecai was sitting at the palace gate and was not afraid of him!

    He did nothing!

Bragged to everyone how rich he was and how many kids he had and the honors he was given by the king and how he had been promoted. and blah, blah blah, blah blah

Because he hates to see Mordecai the "Jew" just sitting at the gate

  2. He was in high spirits because he felt he was important because the king only invited him to the baquet. Also his wife came up with a plan to kill Mordeci.

He was mad because he saw Mordeciat the Kings gates and he showed no fear in Hamans presence.

    He just went home.

When he got home he collected his family and told about his day at work. Just like what we do today.

his wealth, his many sons, all the ways the king honnored him and how he was better than the other nobles and officials. " He is the only one Queen Esther invited to her banquet."

To see that "Jew" Mordeci sitting at the gates.

When you get revenge on someone and you see them later and they look totally unneffected. You should listten to your consience and not get even all together because you can be the bigger person in this situation.

His wifes name was Zeresh and she suggested to build a gallow and hang haman infront of the palace gates.

Hamman likes the plan and built the gallows. How Cruel!
